About VyaparTrust

Who we are, what we do, and who runs this service — with its government registrations and how you can check them yourself.

Who we are

VyaparTrust is a record-keeping and checking service for businesses that buy and sell on credit. Our line is Pehle Bharosa. Phir Vyapar. — trust first, then trade.

We are a small private business owned by one person. Who that is, and the business's registrations, are set out further down this page.

Why we exist

In trade across India, goods are often sent on credit to buyers in other states whom the seller has never met. When a payment goes wrong, the seller usually finds out only after the goods have left.

Checking a buyer today means phone calls and word of mouth. We want that check to take minutes, with the source of every fact in front of you.

VyaparTrust 3× KYB Intelligence Framework

The Three Pillars of Business Trust

Know Your Business. Know Your Buyer. Know Your Broker.

Trust First. Then Trade with Confidence.

Before you trust a business relationship, understand the facts behind it.

VyaparTrust helps businesses make more informed decisions by bringing together available business records, identity verification, documented trade information and relevant risk indicators.

A verification layer. Not a defaulter list.

Evidence to help you decide. Clear limitations. A fair opportunity to respond and correct inaccurate information.

Beside each verification area below is its status: “Available now”, “Available now, checked by our reviewer”, “Built, switched on after legal review or when the service provider goes live”, “Partly available now” or “Planned”.

1. KYB — Know Your Business

Know your business. Establish your identity. Build confidence.

Review and verify your own business registration, identity details and supporting credentials through available, authorized sources.

Verification areas:

  • PAN-based business identification.Available now, checked by our reviewer.
  • GST registration, legal name, trade name and registered address.Available now, checked by our reviewer.
  • Udyam registration, where applicable.Available now, checked by our reviewer.
  • Business bank-account beneficiary-name matching through authorized services.Partly available now: our reviewer matches the name by a ₹1 UPI check now; the automated service is built and switched on when the service provider goes live.
  • Voluntary, legally permitted identity verification of authorized representatives.Available now, checked by our reviewer: offline Aadhaar, if you choose; only the result and the last four digits are kept.
  • Digitally issued documents shared through supported, approved verification channels.Built, switched on after legal review or when the service provider goes live.

Your verified business identity is the foundation of a more transparent trading relationship.

2. KYB — Know Your Buyer

Before you extend credit, understand who you are trading with.

Review available official business records and documented trade-related information to identify inconsistencies, relevant warning signs and areas requiring further verification.

Verification areas:

  • GSTIN registration and current status.Available now, checked by our reviewer.
  • Available GST return-filing history and delays.Partly available now: filing regularity and the latest return period now; the full history planned.
  • Other GST registrations linked through appropriately verified identifiers, where lawfully accessible.Planned.
  • Relevant, correctly matched court records and their current status.Available now, checked by our reviewer.
  • Documented payment timeliness and available settlement history.Available now, as members record it.
  • Evidence-backed trade claims, disputes and resolutions.Available now.

A registered buyer is not necessarily a reliable payer. Better information helps you decide what additional safeguards a transaction may require.

3. KYB — Know Your Broker

Know the person behind the business introduction.

Both sellers and buyers can review available information about a broker's professional identity, credentials and documented business relationships.

Verification areas:

  • Broker Passport and identity credentials.Available now.
  • Available business registration details, where applicable.Available now, checked by our reviewer.
  • Independently confirmed association membership or references.Partly available now: references confirmed by the person giving them now; association membership confirmation planned.
  • Documented buyer and seller introductions.Available now.
  • Supported transaction-history indicators, where available and permitted.Available now: deal outcomes as members record them.
  • Relevant verified claims, responses and resolutions.Partly available now: the number of introduced buyers in dispute now; claims about the broker directly planned.
  • Periodic re-verification of credentials and applicable public records.Partly available now: yearly passport renewal now; automatic re-checks of public records planned.

A trusted introduction deserves transparency. A broker's identity and track record should be understood independently of any financial guarantee.

Our Approach to Business Trust

  • Verified Facts. Information supported by identifiable, relevant sources.Available now: every fact taken from a public record shows its source and the date it was read.
  • Transparent Limitations. Clear disclosure of what was checked, what could not be checked and when the information was obtained.Partly available now: what was checked and when, now; what could not be checked, planned.
  • Fair Representation. Claims and disputes are distinguished from verified findings, with an accessible opportunity to respond and request correction.Available now: members can reply to a claim within 15 days, ask for a correction or appeal; anyone can write to our grievance officer.
  • Informed Decisions. Verification assists commercial judgment; it does not replace independent due diligence.

Know More. Understand Risk. Trade with Confidence.

VyaparTrust — Trust First. Then Trade with Confidence.

Disclaimer

VyaparTrust provides business verification and trade-risk information within the scope of its available services. It does not guarantee identity authenticity in every circumstance, future payment, recovery of debts or freedom from fraud. Platform assessments are not government certifications or regulated credit-bureau reports. The business decision remains with the user.

What we do

  • Buyer check: before you dispatch, we look at an outstation buyer's GST status, court cases, documented claims from other members, and which broker introduced them. You get green, amber or red, with the reasons — usually within 2 working days.
  • Broker passport: one yearly passport for a broker or adatiya, with a QR card any seller can scan, instead of a paper form for every trader.
  • Claims: when a deal goes wrong, a member can record a claim with documents. The other party is told and has 15 days to reply.

How it stays fair

  • Profiles are visible only to members checking a named party.
  • A claim needs documents, and the other party has a right to reply.
  • Every fact taken from a public record shows where it came from and when it was read.
  • A party's first red result is shown as amber until a person has reviewed it.
  • If something recorded about you is wrong, you can ask for it to be corrected, or appeal it.

What we never do

  • We never hold your money. Payment between a buyer and a seller stays between them.
  • We never store an Aadhaar number.
  • We never publish anyone's name in a public list. Our records state facts and their source, never accusations such as “fraud” or “defaulter”. A claim's status, such as “unpaid” or “absconded”, is a procedural step in a documented claim, shown only to members checking that party, never while the claim is still waiting for the other party's reply, and with the strength of the evidence it rests on.
